BMW Z4 M Sport Package released
Mon, 14 Dec 2009BMW is to debut the M Sport Package for the Z4 at the Detroit Auto Show Back in September we brought you some pictures of what at first glance appeared to be a BMW Z4M, despite BMW making it clear that they are not going to build an M car this time round. But it actually turned out to be a Z4 with M Sport Package zapping round the Nurburgring looking, to all intents and purposes, like a new hot Z4. Almost three months on BMW has finally got round to revealing the M Sport Package for the Z4 which will – just like the BMW Z4 sDrive35is we reported on yesterday – debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2010.
Chevrolet to pull out of Europe
Thu, 05 Dec 2013General Motors is ‘strengthening’ its ‘European brand strategy’ by pulling Chevrolet out of mainstream markets in Western and Eastern Europe. This is ‘largely due to a challenging business model and the difficult economic situation’ – but does not mean that Chevrolet is set to disappear entirely. On Bing: see pictures of European Chevrolets Find out how much a used Chevrolet costs on Auto Trader Instead, Chevrolet ‘tailor its presence’ by offering only select ‘iconic’ vehicles from the marque’s global portfolio.
There's a 2015 Ford Mustang convertible on the way, too
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Almost immediately after the Ford Mustang debuted, buyers could choose from three body styles -- a hardtop, a rag-top convertible and a fastback (which actually came out a few months later than the hardtop and convertible). We already knew that the 2015 Mustang will arrive as a fastback (sorry, notchback partisans), but Ford has just announced that a drop-top version is also in the works. Pictures of the convertible sport a shiny "5.0" badge on the side and and chrome "GT" badge on the back, but we assume all the standard engines -- the 5.0-liter V8, 3.7-liter V6 and that new 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-four -- will be offered.
