Mon, 15 Sep 2008From 11-15 August over 28,000 artists, research scientists, developers, filmmakers, and academics from around the world gathered in Los Angeles for the 35th Siggraph Conference on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques. The Siggraph conference includes courses and technical paper presentations, new technologies demos, an art gallery, computer animation festival, and an exhibition by software and hardware vendors. While the New Tech Demos and the technical programs are focussed on technologies that designers will have to wait several years for, several automotive software and hardware suppliers announced new shipping products at Siggraph.
Mercedes Teases Its 911 Rival Ahead Of Autumn Launch

The German firm has dropped the familiar ‘Benz’ element of its name, with the car being called simply the Mercedes-AMG GT. Name and cabin layout aside, Mercedes is giving little away as to the car’s looks and motive power.

Fri, 22 Jan 2010Toyota has updated the Auris for 2010 Back in October we reported on the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) 2010 Toyota Auris which was a pretty good pointer to what the rest of the world would get in the way of updates to the 2010 Toyota Auris. And it was, with Toyota confirming the UK changes for the Auris and also confirming that the Auris Hybrid will go on sale in July, just as we reported back in June last year. Exterior changes to the Auris are not huge, but they are noticeable.
