It looks like Hyundai are planning to give new car buyers a free cow to save the Sunday Roast from rising fuel costs. It looks like Hyundai’s clever PR bods have found a way to boost car sales in the same way as Scrappage did, by planning to save the Sunday Roast from the inexorable rise of fuel costs. They’ve commissioned a survey to find out what motorists are having to give up as fuel costs rise, and have decided the worst thing is missing out on Sunday’s Roast Dinner.

Kia has revealed their plug-in hybrid concept - the Kia Ray - at the Chicago Motor Show A few weeks ago we reported on a tease from Kia of the Kia Ray Concept they were taking along to Detroit’s lower key motor show sibling – the Chicago Motor Show. And true to their word they revealed the Kia Ray at Chicago – and a convincing Prius rival it looks. Instead of the stodgy mainstream hybrids churned out to date by (mainly) the Japanese, the Kia looks like a breath of fresh air.

The weather wasn’t all it could have been but that didn’t stop the fun at the 2013 instalment of CarFest South at Laverstoke Park Farm near Basingstoke in Hampshire. The annual event organised by DJ, TV presenter and famous car nut Chris Evans ran over three days with a sell-out crowd helping raise money for Children in Need.MSN Cars was on site capturing the best of the cars and the atmosphere.
