Up for auction is ONE (1) NEW pivot link for the fuel selector shaft on a Cessna.  It is P/N 0513382-14.  This part was purchased for a 1975 C172 and never used, but it should also fit other years and models.  Check the part number and verify that this will fit your application.  The last picture shows a fuel selector and linkage with red arrows indicating where this part is located.  A total of eight of these pivot links are used in the aircraft.  This auction is for ONLY ONE link, and the fuel selector is NOT included, as it has been sold.  An online search revealed that a discounted price for this part is $167.52 !  Please ask questions before bidding.  Shipping is to the United States only.

Hyundai: Geneva Motor Show 2013

Hyundai is at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with the Grand Santa Fe debut, the refreshed ix35 and the upgraded i20 WRC. The Geneva Motor Show is probably the most important car show on the planet, and car makers like to have big reveals here. But Hyundai are a bit muted this year, with no big launches planned, although they do have two ‘new’ models on show and a bit of rally glitz too.

Vehicles connect at Michigan International Speedway

The Michigan Department of Transportation and Michigan International Speedway have joined forces to help in the development of a connected-vehicle system. In the future, it will help cars communicate with each other on the road to avoid crashes and increase safety. The speedway, located in Brooklyn, Mich., will allow organizations such as the Connected Vehicle Proving Center and the Center for Automotive Research to use the track as a test road for the new technology.
