Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance to feature French classics

The Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance will bring a selection of coachbuilt French cars to the Marin Civic Center in San Rafael, Calif., on May 20. The concours will also celebrate Italian automobile designs from 1946 to 1975 and the 75th anniversary of the demise of Cord. The work of Joseph Figoni of Coachwork by Figoni et Falaschi will be well represented at the show.

Porsche 911 Targa 4 (2014) first official pictures

The new Targa is inspired by the ’60s classic, as you’ll spot by its all-new roof arrangement (no glorified sunroof Targas any more). The contrast-coloured roof-hoop returns, as does the dome-shaped wraparound rear window.

Toyota unveiled the fifth-generation 4Runner at the 2009 LA Auto Show. The new design embraces its robust SUV identity more than its immediate predecessors, which also distinguishes it from the similarly sized but more urban Toyota Highlander sibling.
