Chev Reverse Rotation Iron Distributor Gear Use With Rh Engines. on 2040-parts.com
Tacoma, Washington, United States

Stock MC and other opposite rotation (RH) engines come with cast iron roller or hydraulic lifter camshafts, and you must use a cast iron distributor gear and not bronze, composite or other! Mixing these alloys up causes pre-mature gear and engine failure. Our cast iron gears are hardened to RC50 to 55 (GM specs) to assure you of compatibility of correct metals and longest life. Includes hardened roll pin for mounting.
We have two different Chev reverse rotation part numbers available. Our 2533 in this listing fits the standard GM distributor with a .491 shaft diameter. Our 2540 fits MSD, Pertronix and others using a .500 diameter shaft. If you have any doubt about what you need, please call 1-877-253-7882 before ordering, or if you need the .500 diameter gear. Volvo C70 Ice White Limited Edition
Mon, 09 Mar 2009Volvo C70 Ice White Limited Edition But anyway, the Volvo C70 Ice White is based on the C70 Coupe/Convertible. and sports a 2.0 litre diesel engine, which manages to deliver 46.3mpg and 161g/km on the Co2 front. It’s performance is not exactly startling (11 seconds 0-60) but the healthy amount of torque from the diesel unit does make it feel livelier than the figures would suggest, at least around town.
Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel averages 62.9mpg on 2,884 mile U.S Road Trip
Tue, 15 Nov 2011The Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel completes its US Road Trip Last week we reported that Jaguar were taking an XF 2.2 Diesel to the US to drive from New York to Los Angeles to show just how economical the new, smaller engined diesel can be when driven on long, open roads. It was the U.S version of the economy run from Jaguar to Munich earlier this year, when economy-run specialists David and Alexander Madgwick managed to squeeze 57mpg out of the parsimonious XF. Which made us wonder if there was more to this run across the States than just another bash at shining the new XF’s eco-halo.
California rules give push to 'green' vehicles in the near future
Fri, 27 Jan 2012California regulators on Friday approved a plan that would require 15.4 percent of new vehicles sold in the state be electric, fuel-cell or plug-in hybrid vehicles by 2025. The rule--supported by major automakers--is part of a broader package of regulations called the Advanced Clean Car program designed to cut vehicle greenhouse gas and smog-forming emissions. The sweeping new auto emission standards could mean 1.4 million electric, fuel cell and plug-in hybrid vehicles on California roads by 2025.
