GQbyCitroen unveiled in London

Two days after unveiling the Survolt and DS High Rider concepts at the Geneva motor show, Citroen last week pulled off a rare surprise by unveiling the GQbyCitroen - its third concept in three days. Instigated around a year ago, the project is a result of GQ Magazine's editor Dylan Jones questioning what his readers' ideal car might look like, and subsequently being put in touch with Citroen's Mark Lloyd, design manager for this project. The concept is a 4.5m long shooting break, based on the C4 platform.

Mind-powered ‘Emotiv’ car safety system tested

The Australian firm has already brought its most recent mind-controlled device to market – the Epoc headset. It’s this high-tech brain activity monitor that has now been adapted to determine how hard a driver is concentrating on the road ahead.

VW debuts Twin Up! Concept at Tokyo Motor Show

Volkswagen introduced the newest member of the XL1 family at the Tokyo Motor Show, the Twin Up! Essentially the plug-in hybrid version of the Up!, this four-seater concept car shares some of its drive system with the Volkswagen XL1 including its dual-clutch automatic transmission, diesel engine and electric motor.
