I removed this 454 big block from my 69 Chevelle to install the correct engine back in my car. I had plans to change heads and cam and install it in another project but I need to focus on my 69 instead. Not sure of the mileage on this 454 but ran very good with no noises nor smoke and very minimal wear in the cylinders..Appears to be standard bore and has a stock cam. It is a 4 bolt main with 2 piece rear seal. I sold the 454 heads that were on it and purchased a pair of closed chamber "702" casting heads ( see pictures). I had the bare 702 castings cleaned and checked by a machine shop and are ready to machine and build. I have the balancer, flex plate and chrome Edelbrock valve covers to go with it.
So, in a nutshell you are getting a running condition 454 4 bolt short block, 1 pair of bare "702" casting 427 oval port heads, balancer, flex plate and chrome Edelbrock valve covers. You will need to purchase everything else but this is a great start to a super engine at a fraction of the cost. I just don't need it.
