Real Glass Mirror
This is a mirror from my father's 1958 Chevy Nomad Wagon. It was also used in his 1962 Chevy Impala. He then moved it to his 1964 Chevy Impala Wagon.
This is truly a hard to find mirror, as it has the comb holder on the back side.
The mirror is in excellent ship. It has no flaws. The reflection that you see in it is of the popcorn ceiling above it. Has the comb holder intact.
The clips are in excellent shape and holds the mirror snug to the visor. The Chevrolet logo is in excellent shape. This mirror is real glass, and I was told that this mirror was made from the late 1940s through the early 1960s.
See pictures for condition. As seen in the last picture, the back of the mirror has something on it. I will leave it for the new owner to remove, as I do not want to use any chemicals or solvents on this vintage piece of mirror.
This does not affect the visual look of the mirror, as the back side is not seen.
This is a wonderful piece of Chevrolet history and would be a wonderful edition to anyone who owns a Chevrolet of the years listed above.

MINI Paceman Coooper S hits the Nurburgring (video)
Sat, 21 Jul 2012The next MINI to hit showrooms – the MINI Paceman – has been caught testing at the Nurburgring ahead of a Paris Motor Show. We did think that the MINI Paceman – which arrived at the Detroit Auto Show last year as a concept – would make it to market as a Countryman Coupe. But just last month MINI let it be known that they’re actually going with the funkier Paceman rather than the descriptive, though predictable, MINI Countryman Coupe for the production version of the Paceman which will debut in production guise at the Paris Motor Show in September.

Sat, 20 Feb 2010We have official video of the Aston Martin Rapide from Valencia Back at the start of February Aston Martin flew the world’s media to Valencia to party with the new Aston Martin Rapide. Even though Cars UK didn’t get an invite we decided to shove up a review of the Rapide covering what we knew from all the bumph Aston Martin had sent us and the opinions we’d formed from seeing the car. It wasn’t sour grapes – although it would have been nice to be asked – but looking at the reviews written by those who went on the ‘Jolly’ we were pretty much on the money.
Peugeot Design Contest 2008
Thu, 09 Oct 2008Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar from Colombia was last week announced as the winner of the 5th annual Peugeot Design Contest at the 2008 Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris. The 25 year old designer's winning 'RD' concept was chosen via an online internet poll and a competition jury headed by Peugeot's Managing Director, Jean Philippe Collin. This year's contest asked designers to "Imagine the Peugeot in the worldwide megalopolis of tomorrow" and to then design a car that could evolve with the cities of the future, while retaining the key values of the 21st century.
