This Add-on kit for exterior temperature sensor 25775833 prevents ERDTT unwanted engine start events below 25 F -4 C on 2011-12 and below 14 F -10 C 2013-15 on Chevrolet Volt Cadillac ELR and Opel Ampera by changing value readed by temperature sensor.
The Add-on can easily be changed back to the original value via an Off switch to be installed inside engine compartment.
Just install it between your existing stock sensor and sensor connector this allow you to run your Volt on pure electric mode when the temperature is cold or prevent engine start inside your garage.
The device has no effect on the battery thermal management at low temperatures.
This device can affect original warranty on installed vehicle, buyer are responsible for any modification on his vehicle.
