Up for sale is my 1969 "L88"427 CI Big Block Chevy motor complete. The motor is an original L88 427 from Chevy Corvette in 1969. Block code is 3963512, a real 512 block code and the matching aluminum heads are 3946074. Has original forged steel crank, dimple rods, pistons, aluminum heads and 12.5 to 1 compression. All internals massaged a bit for improved durability, the heads especially, notorious for cracks around the rocker bosses. Heads flow 345 CFM with Jomar rocker stud girdle support system. Solid roller cam, 720 lift, holds adjustment nicely. Completely studded motor. Comes complete with an original 1969 Pete Jackson mechanical Fuel injection system converted to electronic sequential digital injection. The old system was notorious of bad tip in off idle but now runs like a new car. Engine made 620 HP on dyno, 630 Ft/Lbs. Torque. Runs amazing in perfect condition. Have video below of running last week. The engine comes complete from Pan to injection system including the original mechanical drive tach, and the matching cable drive. Distributor included converted to electronic ignition, both in perfect working order. Includes original numbers matching aluminum water pump. Has reusable oil filter system. Jessel belt drive timing for crank to cam. Custom Crank trigger system. Comes complete with computer brain for fuel injection system and instructions for installation. Pretty straight forward, all connections are marked and easy to make. Comes with second computer system for back up. Tunes on a lap top but tune is perfect, needs no changes. Ian Cameron receives Welsh Motoring Writers' Automotive Achievement Award

The award was presented at the WMW annual dinner at HMS Nelson's Wardroom in Portsmouth, UK, by the group's patron and former winner, Land Rover director of design Richard Woolley. "As we celebrate a decade since the launch of Phantom and the establishment of the new home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex, it is a most fitting time for Ian to be bestowed with this honor," said James Warren, Rolls-Royce product and corporate communications manager, UK.

The decision to shut down both the car design and motorcycle design studios of Honda R&D Europe (HRE-G) in Offenbach, near Frankfurt was taken at the end of September and came as a shock announcement to employees. It represents the latest casualty in cuts for the car design community.
