Here we have a 621 Bellhousing. The actual casting numbers are: 3899621. This one is large enough to handle the Chevy large 168 tooth 14 inch flywheel and 12 inch clutch. It fits all the older small and big block Chevy engines from 283-454, and has the 4 and 5/8 inch or 4 and 11/16 inch center hole (whichever one you call it). All I know is that I have 3 Muncies, all with the what I call the 4 and 5/8 inch bearing cap and this bell fits all of them. This bell has been cleaned and blasted to clear it of all dirt and debris. It has also been checked and verified true all over for proper mounting to the engine, and for proper mounting of the tranny to it, plus clearance for the clutch and flywheel, plenty of room (16 inches from top to bottom inside clearance). All the bolt holes are in great condition. The Clutch pivot ball has been removed, cleaned and threads checked, they are good to go. The shipping rate is a flat rate of $25.00 in the lower 48 U.S. states only. In addition, RURAL ROUTE type addresses, where a surcharge is tacked on, will have an additional charge applied to the invoice. Package will be sent to you via UPS Ground with a tracking number. I will ship elsewhere on a case by case basis but, email me first to inquire, so that I can check your shipping options and rates to see if it will be feasible for the both of us. I will not lose money on shipping. Porsche are developing and electric Porsche Boxster It’s not exactly a surprise that Porsche has announced its intention to develop an electric roadster based on the Porsche Boxster, after all – as part of VW – they have access to an awful lot of technology and they’d be foolish to let car makers like Tesla or Fisker potentially steal some future Porsche glory. So starting early next year – as part of a programme Porsche call Modellregion Elektromobilität – three electric Boxsters will be out and about with their electric powertrains in the real world to give Porsche feedback. Porsche are making it absolutely clear that this rolling lab for an electric Boxster is entirely complimentary to – and in no way undermines – their hybrid programme, which includes the Panamera and Cayenne Hybrid and the Hybrid Hypercar that should soon become the production Porsche 918 Spyder.

We saw the first Chinese car ever to get a full five-star Euro NCAP rating with the Qoros 3, signalling Chinese manufacturers are really starting to think about the needs of other markets around the world – in fact, just to prove that point, Euro NCAP voted the Qoros 3 the safest car of 2013. What a result.

2013 Aston Martin Vanquish in the wild on video

The new 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish – Project Am 310 from Villa D’Este – has been caught on video in Italy in production guise. The story of the replacement for the Aston Martin DBS – which we now know is to be the new Aston Martin Vanquish – has been playing out over the last month or so. We reported at the start of May that the DBS name would be dropped and then exclusively revealed that it would debut at Villa D’Este as the Project Am 310 to try and mop up the honours in the Concept Category (it actually lost out to the Alfa 4C).
