Porsche 911 RS models through the ages – on video
Fri, 26 Mar 2010By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 26 March 2010 06:35 Porsche GB has issued a rather cool video detailing the history of the 911 RS models – filmed in situ at the new Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone.Unlike most corporate videos, this one is remarkably free of commercial sells – although we should remember its presenter will be a tad biased! But we're posting it here because we reckon it's a great video guide to the most hardcore of 911s, tracing the history of the lightweight Renn Sport specials all the way back from the 1973 original up to the present day.>> Rip-off or rip-rorting? 2015 Hyundai i20 INTERIOR revealed
Wed, 03 Sep 20142015 Hyundai i20 INTERIOR revealed Hyundai has already had two bites at the cherry with the reveal of the new 2015 i20 – first with some design sketches and then an almost complete reveal ten days later – but now they’ve finally finished the reveal (and had three lots of column inches for the price of one) with more details and the first interior photos. Hyundai say the new i20′s interior is colourful and comfortable, and they look to have worked on pushing the i20′s interior closer to that of German rivals. Plenty of premium soft-touch materials make the interior a nicer place to be – and to touch – and colour blocks are used to help create an air of spaciousness.
'Make electric cars loud and safer'
Wed, 30 Oct 2013ELECTRIC AND HYBRID cars should be made louder to protect people with eyesight problems, an MP and charities have urged. Mary Glindon (North Tyneside) said the Government should first ensure the vehicles are safe for all road users after pledging millions of pounds in subsidies for the ultra-low emissions market. She believes sound generators should be fitted to the vehicles to ensure visually-impaired (VI) pedestrians are aware of them.
