If you're a hardcore Elvis fan, you probably know that the 30th Anniversary of The King's passing occurred on August 15th of 2007. What you might not know is that Bruce Rossmeyer commemorated the event by rolling out a limited-edition collection of Harley-Davidsons along Elvis Presley Boulevard in Memphis.

The Elvis Presley Anniversary Signature collection was delivered to the steps of Presley's storied Graceland Mansion at 8:00am on August 15, 2007. The group of 30 motorcycles is styled to imitate the 1957 black Harley-Davidson FLH model Presley once owned, but the vintage-vibed bikes feature a 2007 Softail chassis and drivetrain for modern-day reliability. The last bike in the series, number "30," was auctioned off at Graceland during Elvis Week (the annual celebration of Presley's life and career). The two phototypes are at Jay Lenos Garage and at Daytona HD.

These bikes were built by Rucker Performance of Ft Worth Texas the parts sold here and other auctions are the surplus to that effort if you what your softail to look like the 1957 panhead these parts are some of the only ones in existence. Some custom modifications may be required. So when looking to buy understand these parts were custom manufactured for that effort only and are not available anywhere.

These Chrome dash were welded  together to make them fit correctly on the 2007 softail deluxe that was the base for the above projects.

Chrome on these dashes is flaking in some places and may need to be rechromed before installation the price reflects the need of repairs.

If you have any questions please ask before you buy or bid on these parts.

The photos show the modifications that were made to correctly make these fill the QC required by the TCB team.

These dashes will fit on 2001-2015 HD softails and almost any single style HD gas tank.

AGAIN ANY QUESTIONS ASK ASK ASK.

Thank you for looking.

McLaren P13 set to arrive in 2014

Sun, 24 Mar 2013

The next new car from McLaren – codenamed P13 and set to take on the Porsche 911 and Audi R8 – now looks set to arrive in 2014. McLaren’s plans for a new range of road cars have been in play for a number of years, and we initially expected the 12C to arrive first to take on the Ferrari 458, which it did, followed by a cheaper McLaren set to take on cars like the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. We got the McLaren MP4-12C (which McLaren now like us to call the 12C) followed by the 12C Spider – just as we first thought - but it seems McLaren was under pressure from its new dealer network to get the replacement for the legendary F1 out next, so McLaren switched tack and delivered the new McLaren P1.

The Panther Six - six-wheeled Hypercar - makes an appearance at Salon Prive It’s getting closer to Salon Privé 2010, that annual festival of all things ‘Super’ in cars at the Hurlingham Club, and this year there’s an extra reason to toddle along for a day of petrol and Champagne – The Concours Hypercar Class. Salon Privé has cobbled together an impressive array of Hypercars for a special ‘Hypercar Concours’ at this year’s event, including the rather spectacular ‘Lady Penelope-Style’ Panther Six. The Panther Six is a six wheeled, 1970s creation with a mid-mounted, 8.2 litre Cadillac V8 and a claimed 200+ mph top speed.

Concept Car of the Week: Renault Vel Satis (1998)

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

The approach to the design of top end models varies greatly depending on the manufacturer's heritage and the cultural differences of each country. It might be a conventional combination of wood and leather for some, power and technology for others, but it is generally packaged into a three-box four-door sedan or two-door fastback. Renault on the other hand had a much more cutting edge vision of what a luxury automobile could be.
