BMW is launching the BMW 320d EfficientDynamics at the Frankfurt Motor Show It seems like only five minutes – actually, it was June – that BMW announced the 316d ES as the most frugal car they have ever made. And guess what? This new BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Saloon is labelled as ‘BMW’s most fuel efficient and greenest 3 Series ever’ in the Press Release.

Chevrolet Volt MPV5 surfaces

GM revealed the Chevrolet Volt MPV5 Concept at Beijing We’re all busy waiting for the Chevy Volt / Opel Ampera / Vauxhall Ampera to turn in to reality. Despite that, GM has today rolled out an MPV / Crossover  version of the Volt at Beijing – The Chevrolet Volt MPV5 Electric Concept. According to GM the Chevrolet Volt MPV5 is amongst the most aerodynamic of crossovers, thanks to its closed grill, lower air dam and a full underbody belly pan.

Honda HR-V images shown at New York auto show

Honda has released images of the upcoming HR-V compact SUV, known globally as the Honda Vezel. The HR-V will be based on the Honda Fit, though the model itself will not be debuting at this year's New York auto show. The HR-V is expected to go on sale at the end of 2014, though Honda has not released extensive details about this new entry into the crossover segment.
