The Skoda Yeti may not be the prettiest compact SUV on the block, but it’s a well-built soft-roader from the Czech car maker with a lot of appeal, particularly for families. So as we’re supposedly in the middle of summer – a dead time for SUV sales of any sort – Skoda are making potential buyers an offer they can’t ignore with the launch of the Yeti Adventure Special Edition, offering unique features and £2,250 of extra equipment over the Yeti SE.

New Volvo Concept XC Coupe for Detroit

Volvo has revealed the first details and images of the Concept XC Coupe, a new show car for the Detroit Motor Show in January 2014. The second of what will be three concepts based on Volvo’s new ‘Scalable Product Architecture’ (SPA), the Concept XC Coupe follows on from the Volvo Concept Coupe that debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Infiniti JX

Shanghai and New York aren't even over yet, but that hasn't stopped Infiniti releasing this teaser sketch of the car it plans to show at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this coming August. The JX luxury crossover carries styling cues 'such as dynamic and elegant line treatments' over from other Infiniti production models, whilst also drawing from the Essence concept car, sporting the 'crescent cut' greenhouse treatment. Billed as the antidote to 'ho-hum' luxury crossovers, the seven seat JX is said to offer 'exceptional seating flexibility, easy access to the roomy third row, plus the latest in-vehicle technology - challenging the status quo in its class'.
