 This has some rust, nothing real heavy.  Hinges move freely, but only in a restricted position----when installed, this opened and closed just fine.  Included is all the hardware removed when part was taken from its donor car, a 1960 ID 19.  Some creativity will be required to fix plastic handle on exterior to open.

Whiplash claim legal costs rising

GOVERNMENT attempts to reduce legal costs from whiplash injury claims seem to be failing. The average legal costs for small, whiplash-like third party injury (TPI) claims now stand at £2,500 per claimant, according to a report by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. The institute said this was a 15% increase since 2010 "when the Ministry of Justice introduced new measures which sought, in part, to contain legal costs".

Smoking in cars to be banned

MPs in the House of Commons have voted in favour of amendment to the Children and Families Bill, thereby recommending a ban on smoking in cars when there are children present in England. The vote does not force the government to bring such a change into law, but has passed with a substantial majority and the recommendation is seen to have substantial public support.
