Artega SE & GT (2011) at the Geneva motor show
Thu, 03 Mar 2011German sports car maker Artega brought the current GT and the SE, an electric version of the obscure man’s Cayman, to the 2011 Geneva motor show. Artega… remind me who they are again? Artega was founded in 2006 in Dalbruch, Germany with the involvement of Karl Heinz Kalbfell, a well-known industry executive formerly of BMW, Rolls-Royce, Alfa Romeo and Maserati (he’s now at Lotus).

Thu, 12 Feb 2009The Maybach Zeppelin - an even bigger waste of money than the standard Maybach Maybach has not exactly been an unmitigated success for Mercedes. Conceived as a competitor for Rolls Royce, it does seem to have carved itself a niche, but probably not the one that Mercedes wanted. Perceived by most as a tarted-up S Class, and bought by the wealthy of the Playstation generation, rather than the Captains of Industry that Mercedes envisioned, the Maybach must be a loss-maker for Mercedes.
Charles Morgan dismissal appeal rejected
Sun, 03 Nov 2013Charles Morgan’s appeal against his dismissal from Morgan Motor Company has been rejected, after the firm’s board of directors chose to uphold the ruling last Friday, 25 October. In a short statement posted on his personal blog, Charles Morgan outlined, “I have been informed that Morgan has rejected my appeal and, as a result, I have been removed from Morgan Technologies.” On Bing: see pictures of Morgan cars Find out how much a used Morgan costs on Auto Trader The former strategy director of the Malvern-based British sports car manufacturer went on to say that “it is incredibly disappointing news.” Morgan – whose grandfather H.F.S.
