New Ford Mondeo Price & Specs – costs from £20,795
Mon, 29 Sep 2014New 2014 Ford Mondeo Price & Specs – costs from £20,795 The new Ford Mondeo is almost the old Ford Mondeo, so long has it taken to get it ready to roll in the UK and Europe after Ford decided to switch production to Valencia. Bit ‘t’s finally gone on sale, more than two years after the US got their version of the Mondeo. The first European car to get Ford’s new C-D platform, the new Mondeo had a chassis tuned for best-in-class driving dynamics (say Ford) and steering weight and direction that matches the ‘Comfort’, ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’ settings.
Pininfarina’s new Alfa concept at Geneva motor show 2010
Mon, 01 Feb 2010Pininfarina will show this new Alfa Romeo-based concept car at the 2010 Geneva motor show. The two-seater is a celebration of the relationship between two of the most stylish names in motoring, in a year that will have Pininfarina blowing out 80 candles and Alfa Romeo 100. When you consider the original 8C, the 1966 Spider Duetto, the 1987 164 and the 2003 Alfa Romeo GTV, it is definitely a relationship worth celebrating.
SEAT SUV confirmed for 2016
Wed, 26 Mar 2014SEAT Compact SUV gets a green light for 2016 (SEAT IBX Concept pictured) SEAT has been threatening to build a compact SUV for years, and back in 2011 it revealed the IBX Concept (pictured above) which was the SEAT take on the Audi Q3. Now, finally, it seems VW has signed-off on SEAT’s compact SUV and the new compact SUV will hit the market in 2016, hopefully giving SEAT’s poor sales a real boost. Expected to be based on the VW MQB platform, the SEAT SUV should enable SEAT to properly compete in Europe and tap in to a market that has grown by 40 per cent in the last few years whilst SEAT’s existing market for its cars has shrunk and been compromised by a weak economy in Europe where the vast majority of SEAT’s sales are made.
