Wed, 28 Mar 2012Skoda is launching a special Urban edition of the Yeti baby crossover packing £2450 of extra equipment at no cost over the equivalent SE spec. The new Yeti Urban is based on the two-wheel drive model with a choice of the 104bhp 1.2 TSI or the 2.0-litre TDI diesel with 109bhp. Skoda Yeti Urban Edition: the lowdown This UK special edition is limited to 750 models and hits UK showrooms in April 2012.

Sat, 13 Jul 2013The Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series (pictured) debuts at 2013 Goodwood FoS In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend and car makers are out in force with their fastest supercars and classics. Mercedes always offer a decent show at Goodwood and this year is no different, with the UK dynamic debut for the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series, which will be strutting its stuff all weekend up the hillclimb. At the other end of the performance range, the Mercedes A45 AMG is also in action showing the crowds just what 360bhp in a compact hatch can do with its runs up the hillclimb.
Video: How DGT Architects created Renault's Paris show stand
Mon, 29 Oct 2012The creators of the Renault stand at this year's Paris motor show have released a video explaining how they created one of the most popular show stands in recent years. The DGT Architects-designed Renault stand – named ‘The Bump' – was one of the stars of the show this year with its curves and lighting drawing praise and attracting admirers from across the event. A total of 388 large squashed light globes that softly glowed a variety of colors were hung from the ceiling and simulated the movements of waves as they illuminated the stand below. To convey a sense of motion to the cars underneath, DGT used the movement of the lights and the creation of two hills.
