For sale is my used Cobb Accessport AP3 (AP3-FOR-002) , it works on 2013 or 2014 Ford Fusions.  It has scratches from normal use which don't affect function and can't be seen when the device is in use.  The lighting in the picture exaggerates the scratches but I wanted to show it's true appearance.

The device is unmarried, comes with carrying case, USB cable, OBD2 cable, dashboard mount, vent mount, suction cup mount, original box.  Unit functions perfectly, I'm selling because I am trading in the vehicle.  No warranties or returns accepted, unless unit arrives DOA (must be tested within 48 hours of receipt).

Please send me any questions or if you'd like more info or more pictures. I will ship for free to lower 48 states in US, Canada please contact me for alternate shipping.

Seat celebrates 60 years of production

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

SPANISH car maker Seat has this week celebrated its 60th anniversary, releasing pictures dating back to its very first model, the 1400. Six decades have now passed since the first 1400 rolled off the production line, when the brand new company was inundated with 10,000 orders following the end of petrol rationing in Spain. With so much production demand Seat was able to drop the initial price of 121,875 to a more reasonable 117,000 pesetas, or what would have been about £590 at the time.

CAR tech: who's to blame for your car's terrible fuel economy?

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

In early 2013 Audi lost a case brought by the Advertising Standard Agency (ASA) because of ‘misleading’ fuel economy figures used in an advert, after a customer complained they couldn’t get anywhere near the 68mpg quoted. The court case once more exposes the yawning gap between officially sanctioned mpg figures and those experienced by owners. A recent study by the Independent Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) looked at cars sold in the UK and Europe, and discovered the difference between official mpg figures and real-world driving had grown from 8% in 2001 to a barely believable 21% in 2011.
