Ford recalls more than 26,000 trucks for faulty switch
Thu, 21 Jul 2011Ford Motor Co. is recalling about 26,700 copies of the F-series truck, Excursion SUV and Ranger pickup for a potentially faulty switch that could cause turn signals, taillights and brake lights to malfunction. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, affected vehicles include certain 2002-2007 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 trucks and Excursion SUVs.

The stylish, quick (in big-engined guise), 2-door coupe brought a certain dash to the products from Dagenham, even when it was powered by an asthmatic 1.3 litre engine putting out about 12bhp! Murray Walker 'astounded' by reunion with father's racing motorbike

During a Royal Automobile Club dinner, where he was a guest of honour, the 90-year-old ‘voice of Formula 1’ was overwhelmed by a surprise unveiling of a group of classic racers that had been assembled by the Club on his behalf. Ever-fewer people remember that Graham Walker, Murray’s father, was a hugely successful motorbike racer with brands including Rudge.
