The new BMW 6 Series Convertible gets a little less camouflage The replacement for the BMW 6 Series has been running around the world in a swirl of black and white camouflage for so long it will need a facelift before it launches. But the camouflage is gradually being reduced as the launch gets closer – perhaps even at Paris this year. I’ve had to concede that maybe it’s not entirely realistic to want a petrol V8 in every car I drive, and there are now some very convincing diesel lumps around. They don’t sing like a good petrol lump, but the big wodge of torque most have really does go a very long way to compensate.
