Land Rover Defender to star in 2012's new Bond film

The venerable 4x4 will be driven in a chase sequence by Naomi Harris’s character, Eve. And the assignment is shaping up to be one of the toughest in the Defender’s 64-year history, says Skyfall co-producer Andrew Noakes.

Throughout 2008 the rail link transported cars on twice daily runs on double-decker carriages over 400 metres long, carrying more than 170 cars at a time. Try doing that on the roads!
Aspid Cars teases sports car to join open-wheeler
Tue, 29 May 2012Spanish automaker Aspid Cars informed us last Tuesday that it will be unveiling a sports car to complement its open-wheel track car. The company didn't tell us much aside from saying that the car will be bigger than its first car, that it will be extremely lightweight and that it will offer multiple powertrain options, including a V8 and a KERS-like hybrid system. The company also made sure to note that its name is no longer IFR Aspid.
