New Mercedes ML63 AMG (2012) revealed ahead of LA Show Just a five months on from the debut of the 2012 Mercedes M Class we now get the bonkers version revealed ahead of the 2011 Los Angeles Motor Show – the 202 Mercedes ML63 AMG. Teased last week on Mercedes’ Facebook page, the new ML63 is exactly what we expected from the quickest SUV Mercedes has ever produced. As expected the ML63 gets the new Mercedes twin-turbo 5.5 litre V8.In the ML63 it delivers 518bhp and 516lb/ft of torque enough, Mercedes say, to dispatch the 0-60mph sprint in a ridiculous 4.7 seconds and on to a limited 155mpoh top speed.

Bertone announces latest motor show special

Bertone has revealed it will give a new one-off concept its world premiere at the upcoming Geneva motor show. There is next to no information – not even a name – about what we can expect from the Italian carrozeria's latest offering, and all we have to work from is the 'teaser' image of the car's profile. Car Design News will be reporting live – via Twitter – from the Vehicle Design MA Degree Show 2010 at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London on the afternoon of Thursday, 24 June (after 13:00 GMT).  The CDN team will be attending the show and interviewing the RCA's student designers, researchers, tutors, alumni, automotive experts and other professionals in attendance from the design community. We'll be posting all our news, photos, video clips and interviews to CDN's Twitter site so CDN's audience can get a real insight into innovative, future transport solutions from some of the world's most talented vehicle design students. At 16:00 GMT, the day culminates with a CDN exclusive online opportunity to "remotely attend" this year's Pilkington Vehicle Design Awards direct from the RCA via webinar.
