CORSA Performance is an engineering and manufacturing company based in Berea, Ohio that specializes in high performance stainless steel exhaust systems for the marine and automotive aftermarket. Founded by Jim Browning, the company entered the marine business in 1989. The Cadillac ConverJ is an electric-powered limousine not seen until press day, harnessing the same plug-in hybrid tech as the Chevy Volt. GM product overlord and everyone’s favourite sound-bite merchant Bob Lutz said the Volt’s drivetrain had been renamed the Voltec system and it was this lithium-ion battery set-up that underpinned the ConverJ concept car.
GM shelves Camaro convertible, Z28
Mon, 23 Mar 2009General Motors has delayed indefinitely the Chevrolet Camaro convertible and Z28 high-performance variant to save cash, sources say. GM also has tabled plans to add a four-cylinder engine version of the Camaro. GM is starting to ship the Camaro to dealers this week.
