The X1 is the hypercar designed with the help of the Red Bull F1 team - and will star in the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 Playstation 3 game. The Red Bull X1 is exclusively revealed in the November 2010 issue of CAR, out now. Adrian Newey, designer of Red Bull's extremely fast but unreliable RB6, designed the X1 in conjunction with Kazanori Yamauchi, the brains behind the Gran Turismo computer games.

A mere century ago, on Oct. 7, 1913, Henry Ford rigged up a rope tow to get Model T chassis across the floor of his Highland Park assembly plant -- essentially winching cars across the factory floor and adding a set schedule of parts at certain intervals. The implementation may have been a bit primitive, but Ford was on the cusp something big: applying the concepts of the moving assembly line to the complicated, costly process of automobile production.

Lada has revealed an appealing looking compact SUV concept at the Moscow Motor Show – the Lada XRAY Concept For those of us who grew up on Lada skips – and even for younger readers who only really know Lada for the Niva 4×4 or the Granta – the appearance of a good-looking Lada Concept - the Lada XRAY – at the Moscow Motor Show is a bit of a surprise.
