Here is a rare item. It is a new GM in the box choke thermostat spring. The part # is 3972142 which replaced part# 3973497. This part mounts to the top of the intake manifold exhaust crossover passage to open the carburetor choke valve. This is correct for 1970 Corvette 350 engines and also big block engines, except the special high performance engine. I believe this was also was used on other 1970 chevy applications such as Chevelles, Camaros, Caprice, and probably trucks. It might have been used in other years as well. Vauxhall has revealed the updated Insignia for 2014 that gets a decent raft of changes, both cosmetically and under the skin, to make it better to live with and more economical. Sensibly, Vauxhall has cut the bewildering range of Insignia trim levels from 14 to eight (do they need even that many?), with Design Trim at the bottom and Elite trim at the top, and the new Insignia Design starting at £16,279 – £3500 less than the old Insignia ES.
