For sale is one used LH fiberglass T-top assemblies. Correct for Corvettes 1969-1976 - The T-top panel features the dual latch design (one on the front and one on the rear), and a separate front alignment pin.
- In 1977, the front latch and front alignment pin became one assembly, and by 1978, the T-top panels switched to a single latch design.
- The T-top panel has some wear marks due to being used and due to being in storage.
- There is a large crack and a broken off piece along the front inner edge (see pictures).
- This area will require some fiberglass work and some body filler afterwards.
- There are also some paint chips that has exposed bare fiberglass on the top surface.
- The stainless steel trim pieces are all there.
- They have some dings and surface scratches, but no dents.
- The understructure is nice and solid.
- It does show the original black single strand fiberglass.
- The latches and guide pins are all there.
- They all show some wear marks from being used, but they are all usable pieces.
- Remember, you can paint these T-tops to match the exterior of your Corvette!!

Volkswagen has issued a series of official design sketches hinting at the appearance of a radical open-top concept car to be unveiled at the Worthersee fan meet in Austria on May 29. Called the GTI Roadster, the new two-seater was originally conceived as a virtual three-dimensional image in a joint cooperation between Volkswagen and Sony for inclusion in the PlayStation “Gran Turismo” video game series. But with enthusiasm for the low-slung roadster running high among its design team, Volkswagen has decided to turn it into a full-size concept in homage to a long history of GTI models.

Rearview cameras may become a mandatory feature in all passenger cars by 2014 if US Congress approves a rule submitted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Auto safety regulators have taken the decision to submit a final rule to Congress after figures emerged from non-profit group KidsandCars.org that stated that two children die and about 50 are injured every week when someone accidentally backs over them in a vehicle. In one quite shocking public-service announcement KidsAndCars.org showed that 62 children could fit behind a large SUV without being visible to the driver in any of the mirrors.
