For sale is one new old stock 3-door rear storage compartment hinge for the center door. P/N 3962615 Correct for Corvettes 1968-Early 1979 w/ 3 door rear storage compartment - The hinge is used for the center storage compartment door, which gets rivetted to the frame and the door then mounts onto it.
- The metal shows oxidation, but there is no weak metal or rust holes (see pictures).
- It moves properly in both directions and does not bind or stick
- It is stamped "W".
- There is no mounting hardware included.
- The original GM sticker is included, however it has lost its stickiness and is no longer attached to the hinge (see pictures).

Continuing the "Imported from Detroit" campaign that launched with Eminem's epic Super Bowl ad, Chrysler has partnered with fashion designer and native Detroiter John Varvatos for the next installment in the star-studded series of commercials. With Iggy Pop playing in the background, the spot shows Varvatos driving a Chrysler 300 as the voiceover says that the Motor City's "perfect combination of rock and roll and heavy industry" made it the designer's muse. Chrysler also is running an ad with Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

Diesel cars best option says former US Transport Secretary
Former American Transport Secretary Norman Mineta is urging the US Government to promote high efficiency diesels instead of electric and hybrid cars. Just like the UK government, the US government seems obsessed with promoting electric and hybrid cars as the way of the future, something anyone who really knows cars will tell you is a nonsensical approach. Hybrid and electric cars are too costly to produce and have little appeal for the car buying public.
