For sale is one used cast iron intake manifold. Casting # 346249 Date Code E 24 8 (May 24, 1978) Correct for 1978 Corvettes Works for Corvettes 1975-1978 - This intake manifold has been media blasted and painted with high temp Chevy Blue engine enamel.
- It has no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I could find.
- The blasting revealed some pitting on the intake port flanges (pics), will not affect sealing.
- All of the mounting holes and threads are in good condition.
- The belly pan is included and is firmly attached with New rivets.
- The pan does have a few dents on it (pics).
- The mating surfaces have all been prep'ed.
- There is some very light "flash rust" that has appeared on the prep'ed surfaces so they should be cleaned off before installation.
