For sale is one used fuel tank locking gas cap (without key). P/N 3994340 Correct for Corvettes 1971-1974 Works for Corvettes 1963-1970 - The locking gas cap was a dealer add-on for the Corvettes.
- It is a sealed (non-vented) gas cap.
- It is missing the keys. There are no key included with this cap.
- You will have to get a set made & re-key the cap for your own keys.
- It is stamped "EE54-3-Z-75" on the underside.
- There is no gasket.
- The chrome surface shows pimpling and bubbling.
- Some of the bubbles have cracked and bursted already (see pics).
- There are also surface scratches.
- The inside shows some oxidation.

Nico Rosberg put in a cracking lap in qualifying for the 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix to take pole position, but the Mercedes did look like it might have problems with tyre degradation in the race. With Sebastian Vettel lurking alongside and Fernando Alonso right behind, it was a big ask for the German to turn his pole position in to a win, and so it transpired. Alonso managed to briefly get past Vettel at the start of the race, but Vettel soon got his second place back and within a couple of laps had taken Rosberg for the lead.

Jaguar has announced that four wheel drive versions of the Jaguar XJ and Jaguar XF will be available – but not in the UK. Jaguar has long bemoaned the lack of a 4WD platform for their cars, and even blamed such a lack of flexibility for the delay in launching the XF Sportbrake. We’ve been expecting Jaguar to reveal a 4WD version of the XJ for a while (especially as the new Range Rover utilises the same platform) but we didn’t expect a 4WD XF until the next generation XF launches in a couple of years.
