For sale is one used vanity mirror housing. P/N 14023591 Correct for Corvettes 1982 Interchange for P/N 14011488 Works for Corvettes 1978-1981 w/ Illuminated Vanity Mirror The vanity mirror housing has been stripped of all components, and is a bare shell with only the mirror base and door lid. No light bulb harness, lens, or mirror are attached (plastic frame only). This is an original passengers side RH sun visor vanity mirror that was removed from a 1982 Collector's Edition Corvette with Silver-Beige Metallic interior. It is a great replacement to use if your lighted vanity mirror has lost it's spring to keep the door closed, or if the plastic on yours has cracked. (Please note, it will require some work to get the wires and spring mechanism hooked up correctly.) The spring has some surface rust. The grain is in good condition. The plastic shows no breaks.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it closed a three-month-long investigation of fires in the Tesla Model S this week, as Tesla announced a design change to better shield the electric car's batteries. Tesla Motors Inc. said today it has started building the Model S with a titanium underbody shield to prevent battery fires like the two that occurred in the United States last year when Model S drivers struck road debris.
