For sale is a pair of used shoulder harness reinforcements. P/N 3966707 & 3966708 Correct for Corvettes 1970-1973 The reinforcements rivet to the rear wheel wells from under the car. They then revceive the should retractors. The metal pieces have some surface rust and oxidation. There is some heavy pitting on the side that mates to the fiberglass. This caused some flaking of the metal. Despite this, there are no excessive rust damages that caused rust holes. The mount holes are in good, usable condition. The rivets will need to be removed. The weld nut is still firmly attached.

Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. President James Lentz plans to stick to his guns and tell skeptical lawmakers Tuesday that the company's unwanted acceleration problems do not stem from electronic defects, a copy of his testimony shows. Lentz's reiteration of Toyota's longstanding position suggests that top company executives were unmoved by sharp criticism of that stance Monday by House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman.

THE BUSINESSMAN behind a private toll road by-passing a closed commuter route is confident he will not have to sell his home if the venture fails. Mike Watts, 62, has until Christmas to recoup his £300,000 investment or face losing his house. He is charging motorists £2 per journey to use his bypass made from rolled chippings and avoid the closed section of the A431 between Bath and Bristol.
