This is a very nice CORVETTE® 1982 CHEV '82 VETTE GAS DOOR EMBLEM EMBROIDERED PATCH, This emblem was ONLY used on the 1982 Corvette®. VERY RARE. The vantage patch is in new/mint condition, sealed in poly bag.

- The 1982 Corvette® was the last of a generation.
- The body shape dated to 1968 and the chassis to 1963.
- In honor of the 1982 status, Chevrolet® offered a special Collector Edition which was the first Corvette® with the base price exceeding $20,000.
- Production in Bowling Green began in '81; 8,995 cars were built that year. The new plant closed in October of '82 to begin retooling for the '84 Corvette®

The concept, which will be shown at next week's Geneva Motor Show, is powered by the 237bhp turbocharged 2.0-litre from the Lancer Ralliart.

PETROL PRICE pressure on the purse strings of drivers has eased, according to figures from the AA. They showed that average petrol pump prices in the UK have fallen back to 130.0p a litre having risen to 131.7p a litre at the beginning of July. Motorists are now doing far better than they were a year ago when petrol averaged 137.5p a litre, rising to 138.38p a litre in mid-October 2013.
