Audi A7 Concept leaks out
Sun, 11 Jan 2009Audi has put out a car to fill just about every niche there is, and very successfully too, over the last few years. But it has rarely been an innovator, preferring to see how the water is before jumping in. The Audi Q7 and the Audi Q5 are good examples of this – late to the party but going to the top of the tree in no time.
London rush hour 'worst in UK'
Thu, 05 Jun 2014ANALYSIS of in-car telematics data has revealed that London commuters get the worst deal in rush hour, with average speeds 30% slower than those across other British cities. The study of 20 million miles of telematics data by Direct Line Drive Plus shows that despite London having more congestion-fighting measures than anywhere else in the country, its road-based commuters suffer worse peak time traffic misery than anywhere else. During peak times, cars in Westminster travel at an average speed of just 10.06mph, compared to a figure of 14.38mph across the biggest British cities.
Fiat 500X SUV & new baby Jeep confirmed
Fri, 21 Dec 2012Fiat has confirmed it is extending the 500 range with the Fiat 500X SUV and will build a new small Jeep crossover on the same platform. We’ve just had the first extension of the 500 range arrive in the UK in the guise of the Fiat 500L (complete with 500L ‘Motherhood’ rap), but the 500L range isn’t going to end there. Following on from a sneak peek at a probable future Fiat 500X SUV back in July, Fiat has now confirmed it is going to put the rufty-tufty version of the 500 in to production and will build it alongside a new baby Jeep crossover – based on the same underpinnings – at its Melfi factory in Italy.
