These are used rockers that came off of my street/strip car. I'm selling them because they will not work with the new heads I'm using. They have only around 20 passes on it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these, there are no marks on them at all. I've had no problems with them. Click on the bar code picture to see that these have the additional roller bearing tips, which is a $150 option. Without this option you only get a bushing. These rockers roughly add .042 lift over the standard ratio of 1.5, without changing your original cam. More lift is always a good thing! I also have AFR Eliminator Competition heads that came off the motor up on another auction. If you have any questions, call Gary at 310-549-3000

Google "valve lift from rocker ratio calculator" to figure out your exact ratio.

If Crower stainless steel shaft mount rocker arms sound like overkill, consider the tremendous abuse the valvetrain sees at 7,000 rpm. Shaft rockers won’t flex like stud mount rockers do—and Crower’s stainless shaft rockers are as close to bulletproof as you can get. That means more stable valve timing and longer valvetrain life. The 1.6 ratio rockers are a bolt-on for the AFR Eliminator heads—no machine work is required.  The last two pictures are there to show why you should consider stainless steel rockers over aluminum.  The aluminum rockers pictured are made by well known American companies, T&D, Jessels, Scorpion, no imports.  Another thing is that aluminum rockers typically use a smaller bearing, in order to maximize the amount of aluminum to hold it all together.

I also have AFR Eliminator Competition heads that came off the motor up on another auction.

Check out this video, you can see my car is street strip, and not full blown race car.

Mon, 07 Nov 2011

Hyundai has confirmed it will bring a 1.6 turbo version of the Veloster coupe to the UK in the second half of 2012, as first revealed by CAR. It should make an interesting alternative to the VW Golf GTI brigade. The new blown four-cylinder engine is called the Gamma 1.6 T-GDI by Hyundai - and it develops an unusually high specific output of 201bhp at 6000rpm and 196lb ft at just 1750rpm.

US DoT makes rear-view cameras compulsory

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

The US Department of Transportation (DoT) has issued a new safety standard for rear visibility that requires mandatory fitment of rear-view cameras. The ruling applies to all new vehicles, excluding motorcycles, weighing under 10,000 pounds (4,536kg) sold from 2018. The ruling has been introduced to cut backover crashes, caused when the victim strays into the blind zone 10-40 feet (3-12m) behind the vehicle that the driver can't see using their mirrors alone.

Ford testing self-parking cars – with or without a driver (video)

Wed, 09 Oct 2013

Ford testing self-parking cars – with or without a driver It seems we’re heading to the point where cars can do more and more for the driver, and fully autonomous cars seem to be less than a decade away. On the way to the fully autonomous car, car makers will be offering stages on the way as the ability of cars to be self-controlling moves along, and Ford are heading in that direction with their new systems for parking and obstacle avoidance. Ford are running prototypes with Fully Assisted Parking, a system that manages to sense a space, control the steering, gearbox and brakes to park the car at the touch of a button, even if the driver isn’t actually in the car.
