Beautiful, Innovative and Radiant'. While it may sound like a slogan for a new line of women's cosmetics, this theme does in fact center on the increasingly relevant field of electric vehicle (EV) design; or more specifically the need to combine sustainable powertrains with attractive, well executed design.

The X1 is the hypercar designed with the help of the Red Bull F1 team - and will star in the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 Playstation 3 game. N.C. Senate gives green light to making stock-car racing the official state sport

North Carolina might join the ranks of states that have officially adopted a state sport. The state Senate on Thursday endorsed stock-car racing by a margin of 46-3. The legislation now goes to the state House.
