First and foremost, I encourage you to do a little research on all of my items for sale. This will confirm that you are getting a fabulous deal. If both parties are happy with what they have spent or sold an item for, then it’s a good transaction. Good Hunting.

Please look at the picture(s) very closely and ask questions before bidding. I try my darnedest to describe what I’m auctioning to best of my limited knowledge. Most items come from a tier 1 automotive plant that’s has finally closed its doors. So… my inventory is now limited. Most will have tooling numbers or department numbers written or engraved on the tool or box unless otherwise noted. Many and most of these tools have been at the bottom of some Vidmar cabinet and haven’t seen the light of day for many, many years. Many of these were bought brand new, tool numbers added and NEVER used.

MAKING OFFERS: I have had to add – If you make an offer, you are only making an offer for the item and does not include shipping. You are paying for shipping – unless you explicitly ask and negotiate.

Payment: PayPal is the preferred method. All others need to be approved before bidding. And yes I accept checks but you need to understand everything gets delayed until the check clears.

Shipping: I try and ship the same day I receive payment. Shipping is to the lower 48 states. All others must get an estimate of shipping and handling before bidding. Outside of the US YOU are responsible for any tariff or import fees. I try and go to the post office and get actual shipping charges. I don’t want you surprised. I will always try and combine shipping to save you money. Go into eBAY and put your purchase in the “cart” and it will allow me to adjust the shipping cost. No insurance will be added unless requested. When listed as free shipping it is NEVER to outside of the lower 48 states. Make sure your address is correct. USPS does not forward “standard” shipping.

Returns: Buyer pays for return shipping - within seven (7) days. Item must be returned exactly as shipped. If you are not satisfied just send the item back for a total refund less shipping. I want to make everyone happy with their purchase. I will work with you to everyone satisfaction.

FCA issues warning on logbook loans

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

VULNERABLE people who use their car as security to take out a loan are finding themselves squeezed even harder financially and even threatened, the City regulator has found. The Financial Conduct Authority warned it will put firms offering logbook loans out of action if they do not "dramatically" improve their standards, after finding evidence of poor behaviour including little or no affordability checks being carried out and some applicants being encouraged to manipulate details of their income. It said lenders are failing to properly spell out exactly how expensive such debts will be, with the true cost often masked by an emphasis on "low" weekly repayments and key terms and conditions buried in small print.

McLaren P1 Spied

Sun, 18 Nov 2012

The McLaren P1 supercar has been spotted out testing in Diss in Norfolk making a visit to a McLaren supplier. We got the public reveal of the McLaren P1 – the spiritual successor to the iconic McLaren F1 – at the Paris Motor Show in September, and the McLaren boys told us the car was 95 per cent of how the final P1 would look. Which seems to be borne out by these spy photos of the P1.
