CTEK MUS 4.3

The MUS 4.3 (Part No. 56-864) is a charger that offers state of the art technology that was previously only found in CTEK's professional product range.  The charger can solve a broad range of battery-related problems and is the perfect charger for those with high demands. The MUS 4.3 offers features such as battery diagnosis that shows if a battery can receive and retain a charge a special reconditioning function that restores stratified and deeply discharged batteries unique maintenance charging a mode for optimized charging during cold winter days and the charging of demanding AGM batteries (i.e. Optima).  The unique display allows the user to follow the entire charging process.

The MUS 4.3 is a fully automatic 8-step charger that delivers selectable 0.8 A or 4.3 A to 12 V batteries from 1.2-110 Ah and is suitable for maintenance charging up to 160 Ah.  The charger is splash and dust proof designed to protect vehicle electronics and non-sparking reverse polarity protected and short-circuit proof.  It is delivered with a 5-year warranty.

Audi A5 and Audi S5 Cabriolets announced With the Audi A5 Cabriolet and the Audi S5 Cabriolet scheduled for launch in the Spring, Audi has released details of both models today, together with a whole heap of images. The A5 Cabriolet offers up four petrol versions – 1.8TFSI, 2.0TSI (in either 180bhp or 210bhp guise) and a 3.2FSI – and a couple of diesels – the 2.7TDI and the 3.0TDI. The S5 Cabriolet gets the new Supercharged V6 with 333bhp we told you about in November.

New car sales in UK still growing – up 14.8% April 2013. Driven by PPI Claims?

It is quite hard to fathom just how UK new car sales (well, registrations) continue to rise inexorably against a backdrop of otherwise stagnant economic activity, but they do. April 2013 has seen a total of 163,357 new car registrations, up a huge 14.8 per cent on April 2012 and the best figure since 2008, and these sales figures are not being driven by fleet buyers but by private motorists – private sector registrations grew by 32.3 per cent in April and are up by 15.2 per cent year to date. Not surprisingly, it’s the Superminis that are performing strongly – although all sectors are showing a rise – and it’s the Ford Fiesta that continues to be the best seller in the UK with sales of over 8,000 in April and over 42,000 so far in 2013, and the rise of superminis has also seen an increase in sales of petrol-engined cars thanks to the wave of small capacity, frugal petrol options.

2013 Lexus LS: UK gets LS 460 & LS F-Sport too

The 2013 Lexus LS has been revealed with a raft of changes and the addition for the UK of the petrol LS 460 and the new F Sport option. The 2013 Lexus LS has managed to arrive in bits and pieces, from the original LS tease through a single photo of the new LS when the official Lexus photos started to leak and then a full-on leak of a raft of LS photos a few days ago. But now we get the official reveal.
