Ideal for virtually any wet sump or dry sump application, CV Products Lightweight Remote Oil Filter Mounts allow you to choose the exact location for your oil filter. They also provide convenient access for oil fillet inspections and replacement. Simply block off the stock oil filter mount on the engine block (use block off plates) and plumb the appropriate oil lines to the remote mount. Each lightweight remote oil filter mount is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The tapered entry on the inboard mounting surface has been revised for greater flow efficiency. Left and right side inlet ports provide greater mounting flexibility. The unused inlet may either be plugged or used with a temperature probe adapter (CV743-10 or CV743-12) to install an oil temperature gauge probe. Both inlet and outlet ports use -12AN short thread fittings. A 1/8in. pipe thread port in the front mount is also provided to accept an oil pressure gauge fitting. CV Products lightweight remote oil filter mounts are available for all common styles/sizes of racing oil filters.

A panel of judges comprising of used car market and vehicle valuation experts at CAP said: “The Nissan Qashqai has created an entirely new ‘crossover’ sector and prompted other manufacturers to follow by marrying the practicality of a people carrier with the looks of a quality 4x4. By achieving this in a package that also offers economy, handling, strong build quality and reliability the Qashqai has become the perfect used car for our time.” The panel noted that strong demand meant the Qashqai was always highly sought after by trade buyers and customers alike, meaning it depreciated slowly and outperformed the general market.

The new paddle-shift gearbox, codenamed DQ200, uses a pair of dry organic-bonded friction linings that don't require cooling in preference to the six-speed version’s twin wet clutches. The system also requires less power for the gear selection and clutch servo system, boosting fuel efficiency and powertrain performance.
