Which explains why Vauxhall has announced new Limited Edition versions of the Astra, Astra GTC, Insignia and Astra to their range of offerings in the UK. The Vauxhall Corsa Sting starts at just £8,995 and comes with a choice of 16 or 17″ alloys in whiote or silver, sports stripes, CD/MP3 player and speed sensitive steering.

Hyundai Veloster to get new 204bhp Turbo When Hyundai revealed details of the Veloster Coupe – the successor to the successful Hyundai Coupe – we found lots we liked and, really, just on thing we didn’t – its paucity of power. All the new Veloster had to offer was the 138bhp 1.6 litre GDI petrol which, although quite frugal, didn’t exactly light a fire of desire for the Veloster in the way we would have liked. So when we reported a couple of weeks ago that Hyundai had revealed a couple of new engines in Korea – a 204bhp turbo and a 150bhp diesel – we rather hoped that Hyundai would see fit to bolt both in to the Veloster sooner rather than later.

Audi lightly updates 2011 TT, adds power boost

Audi's nifty two-door TT gets a light update for 2011, with a bit more power under hood and some minor modifications inside and out. The spotlight change is to the engine. The 2.0-liter TFSI is bolstered to 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque thanks to Audi's valvelift system, which also improves efficiency.
