1942-48 Ford Car Analog Clock (for VHX gauges only) - VLC-42F

Check out Dakota Digital's new VLC Clocks - made to complement their VHX counterparts! Traditional analog style clock face, with LED backlighting and lighted needles to match a VHX instrument system.

The VLC clocks will ONLY work alongside a VHX system.  They are not able to stand alone or work with Dakota Digital's VFD3 digital systems.  They simply plug into one of the CAT-5 network jacks on the VHX controller.

The new VLC’s will only display the current time.

The time is set through the VHX system.  Upon initial power-up, the clock needles quickly advance to sync with the VHX built-in clock.  The VLC clocks contain a separate constant power input harness on the backside, this will allow the clock to continue running while the key is off. If this is not connected, the clock will just re-sync with the VHX system every time the key is cycled.

Here is a chart that explains the difference between the VLC and VLK clock modules that are available (this listing is for the VLC clock, the VLK version is also available for purchase in our store):

Cadillac ELR comes with free home-charging station

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

The Chevrolet Volt-based Cadillac ELR has never been associated with a low price of entry, but Cadillac is now offering an extra incentive to those looking to buy one. The company will provide a 240-Volt Level 2 home-charging station including installation with a new ELR. Cadillac hopes this incentive just might sway some buyers who have been thinking about buying the luxury gas-electric hybrid, or those who have been cross-shopping the ELR with the Tesla Model S.
