1942-48 Ford Car Analog Clock (for VHX gauges only) - VLC-42F

Check out Dakota Digital's new VLC Clocks - made to complement their VHX counterparts! Traditional analog style clock face, with LED backlighting and lighted needles to match a VHX instrument system.

The VLC clocks will ONLY work alongside a VHX system.  They are not able to stand alone or work with Dakota Digital's VFD3 digital systems.  They simply plug into one of the CAT-5 network jacks on the VHX controller.

The new VLC’s will only display the current time.

The time is set through the VHX system.  Upon initial power-up, the clock needles quickly advance to sync with the VHX built-in clock.  The VLC clocks contain a separate constant power input harness on the backside, this will allow the clock to continue running while the key is off. If this is not connected, the clock will just re-sync with the VHX system every time the key is cycled.

Here is a chart that explains the difference between the VLC and VLK clock modules that are available (this listing is for the VLC clock, the VLK version is also available for purchase in our store):

Tue, 26 Jan 2010

La Dolce Vita, the second big Italian-car event of the Big Monterey Weekend, will not return for 2010. First, some background: La Dolce Vita came about when Concorso Italiano, the longtime favorite of Italian-car lovers at Monterey, moved from the Black Horse Golf Club to an airport north of Monterey two years ago. The airport location was panned by attendees for its cold, windswept concrete and general lack of character.

Audi TT facelift for 2010 / 2011

Thu, 08 Apr 2010

Audi's slightly nipped and tucked 2010/2011 Auid TT The Audi TT – formerly the hairdressers favourite car to mince around town – became a proper sports car when the latest TT hit showrooms. Even the soft top performed properly, and the Audi TT RS was – and is – a mini Audi R8. So having got so much right with the latest TT – and having got so much wrong first time out – Audi have been understandably understated with tweaks to the TT.
