GM Pulse Generator - SEN-01-1

from Dakota Digital

8K Pulse Generator with Adapter Cable for GM transmissions with cable drive speed output.

Will this work for...?

The SEN-01-1 can drive some OEM and many aftermarket speedometers, but this has only been tested to work with Dakota Digital's gauges, so we cannot guarantee it will work with any others.

The SEN-01-1 will output a 8,000 pulse per mile signal, it’s an AC Sinewave.

Because many aftermarket speedometers are adjustable in terms of the incoming pulse rate, the SEN-01-1 will work with most of them that they’ve seen, but again it has only been tested with Dakota Digital's gauges.

More often than not though, mainly with OEM speedometers, an SGI-5 will need to accompany the SEN-01-1 in order to multiply or divide the signal.  The SGI-5 can multiply by up to 4x, and divide by nearly any factor, of course also able to compensate for smaller changes due to tire size, gearing, etc. The SGI-5 is available for purchase separately in our store (not included).

SEAT Altea XL

Fri, 25 Aug 2006

Two years after the Seat Altea hatchback was launched comes the extended XL version, which effectively becomes a mini-MPV thanks to a 187mm increase in length. This of course benefits the interior most, the trunk growing from 409 liters to 635 with the rear bench pushed forward - though is conspicuously without the extra row of seats offered by rivals. Outside, changes are most noticeable at the rear where the styling theme has been softened to reflect the car's renewed family-focus.

Held at the Old Congress Hall in Munich, the 10th annual RTT Conference was a showcase for Realtime Technologies AG's (RTT) visualization products. Entitled 'Sharing Visions', the event was a platform for the established supplier of virtual prototyping and virtual marketing tools to demonstrate the services it supplies to various industries, principal among which is the automotive design industry. While many of the presentations revolved around the integration of RTT's software to streamline the processes related to marketing and product development, some reflected on the software's ability to facilitate creation and gauge public perception.
