Dart SHP LS Next Blocks
At long last, the drought is over! We just got in pallet loads of these beauties and will be be giving them our full CNC finishing treatment to get them assembly ready. That means decked, honed, cam bearings, freeze plugs and final washed. In other words, assembly ready. (upcharge $650) This new product is a big deal as its fully skirted design makes it a much easier drop-in for vehicles already equipped with LS engines. Same oil pan, oil filter and accessory set-up as OEM. These same features also lower the cost of an LS swap by reducing the drama of special oil pans and remote oil filter placement. It still carries over the benefits of the LS Next Gen I which allow us to now use it as the standard platform for our 1,000 hp LS3 and LS7 type builds. We received the very first block (#002) released by Dart back in February and they have been dribbling out until now. In the meanwhile, we have taken what we received and turned out some incredible builds. One of them is the 427ci, Whipple supercharged, water-meth injected beast shown in the photo set. It went into a GMC Syclone that we co-featured with Dart at this year's Holley LS Fest. Features: - 6 head bolts provisions - Fully skirted - Dart priority main oiling system with provisions for stock oil filter mounting. - Siamesed cylinder bores with thick walls. - Cylinder barrels extended .375” at the bottom of the bores relative to OEM. - Thick decks ensure reliable head gasket seal. - Blind head bolt holes. - 6 bolt per cylinder capability. - Scalloped water jackets increase flow around cylinders for better cooling. - Splayed outer bolts on middle main bearing caps. - Provisions for LSX roller lifters and cam. - Uses OE front and rear covers. - All OE bolt holes for starter, water pump, etc. - Parts kit sold separately Specifications - Deck Height: 9.240” (stock) - Cylinder Bores: 4.000” up to 4.185” (max) - Main Bearings Size: Stock LS - Main Caps: Steel 4-bolt 1-5 - Cam Location: Stock 55 mm - Lifter Bores: Stock .842” dia. Fiat Panda 100HP Review & Road Test (2010)
Mon, 13 Sep 2010The Fiat Panda 100 HP Review It’s easy to get bogged down in what’s good and what’s bad in a car. The truth is that there are no really bad cars made any more, just degrees of good. Perhaps degrees of fitness for purpose – or fitness for the demographic the car is aimed at – is a better way of looking at it.

Ford Focus facelift (2014) first official pictures
Sun, 23 Feb 2014By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 23 February 2014 23:00 Watch out VW Golf: this is the new Ford Focus that’s been unveiled by Ford ahead of the 2014 Geneva motor show. Gone is the bluff, snouty front end of the current car and in its place are sleeker, narrower front and rear lights, a new bonnet, bumpers and a new grille. Yet it lacks the awkward, guppy-like stance of the Fiesta, which was given its new Aston Martin-esque grille in late 2012, and is a much more sophisticated looking car.
