Thu, 31 Dec 2009Volvo has released video of the 2010 Volvo S60 We first got the new Volvo S60 tease nearly a year ago, and rather unkindly we speculated that the production car would look nothing like the concept. It looked far too stylish and flowing for Volvo – reminiscent of cars like the Jaguar XF – to actually put in to production. But we were wrong.
Lincoln gets own design studio
Tue, 16 Aug 2011Ford is creating a dedicated design studio for its luxury brand Lincoln in an ongoing bid to rejuvenate the brand and position it further apart from the core Ford offering. The new design studio will be situated in the Product Development Center in Dearborn, Michigan, with Max Wolff – recruited from Cadillac last year – charged with leading the brand in its revival efforts. Ford has also announced that it will be increasing spending on the brand, giving it unique interiors and powertrains.
Jaguar XE (2016)
Tue, 09 Sep 2014The XE is Jaguar's rival to the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class. It's the smallest of Jaguar's sedans, fitting into the range below the XF and XJ. It's the first production model to use Jaguar's aluminum architecture that's intended to reduce weight, yet increase flexibility for both engineers and designers.
