Hyundai today showed off the new i10 city car - one of the most popular small cars in the UK during last year's scrappage incentive scheme. As well as a cosmetic pick-me-up, the new 2011 Hyundai i10 gains a pair of new engines with stop-start tech for emissions nudging just under the magic 100g/km CO2 mark.  The Hyundai i10 Blue emits 99g/km of carbon dioxide, and the Koreans claim it's the cheapest five-seat car on the market to hit sub 100g/km. The new Skoda Octavia Estate has had its official debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and Skoda has revealed it will cost from £16,790 The new Octavia Estate gets a choice of four engine options – two petrol and two diesel – with the 1.2 TSI 105PS, 1.4 TSI 140PS, 1.6 TDI CR 105 PS and 2.0 TDI CR 150PS offering a decent set of everyday choices all of which come with a standar manual ‘box, although you can spec the diesel engines with a DSG ‘box. Trim levels mimic those of the Octavia hatch, with S, SE and Elegance. The Octavia S Estate comes with 16″ alloys, Bluetooth, DAB, electric front windows, Climate, Stop-Start and Touchscreen.

Skoda Octavia vRS gets a facelift and a titivate to bring it in line with the rest of the range In keeping with the changes made to the rest of the Octavia range late last year, Skoda has now rolled out the new look for the vRS (and the Scout) to bring the family looks to the whole range. Up-front you get a redesigned grill with a vRS logo and the option of xenons with adaptive lighting. You also get a set of front fog lamps with optional cornering, and some daylight running LEDs.
