Fisker releases Nina drawing ahead of New York auto show
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Fisker Automotive has had its share of setbacks lately, but the company is continuing with plans to reveal a new model, called the Nina, at the 2012 New York auto show. On Thursday, the firm released a doodle that might be a teaser for the Nina. From what we can see, it might also be a drawing of a spaceship, a seabird's head or a high-tech pair of scissors from Fiskars.

Its range comprised of the technically-advanced but stylistically geriatric XJ sedan, the golfers' favourite waftmobile XK8, the droopy S-Type with what appeared to be a lavatory seat on its nose and a Ford Mondeo in a bowler hat known as the X-Type. Recall is last linked to fire hazard, Ford says
Wed, 14 Oct 2009Ford Motor Co.'s new recall of vehicles that pose potential fire hazards will be its last because the latest action covers all remaining cars and trucks with cruise-control switches made by Texas Instruments, even if those switches don't pose safety risks, a Ford spokesman said today. "We did this to reassure customers and make sure there will be no future actions connected to this," spokesman Wes Sherwood said in an interview. "We've gone to extra lengths to include both vehicles with risks and those that don't show risk." Yesterday, Ford announced a recall of 4.5 million vehicles--its eighth in the past decade involving cars and trucks with faulty cruise-control deactivation switches.
