Mustang's 5.0-liter V8 now ready for your car

The new, all-aluminum 5.0-liter V8 that is the heart of the 2011 Ford Mustang GT--and is destined for future duty in Ford's F-Series pickups--has popped up as a new entry in the Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog. With a suggested retail price of just a buck less than $7,000, you can get the same 412 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque sits under the hood of new Mustangs. And since the engine mount bosses and bellhousing mount pattern are common with Ford's 4.6-liter V8, the 5.0-liter is an easy swap for older Mustangs.

Peugeot 308 R Concept stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Peugeot’s hot new 308 R Concept hatchback has the new mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI square in its sights here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The regular 308 hatch is also making its debut, showing quality Peugeot hope will rival the likes of Volkswagen and Audi, but with the rather racy looking 308 R, the French firm is after the performance crown, too. Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M (2008) first official photos

Unveiled this past weekend at Ferrari’s World Finals end-of-season gig at Mugello, just 499 Scuderia Spider 16Ms will be built, each costing over £180,000. Ferrari says its latest model has been built to celebrate the Prancing Horse’s 16th F1 Constructor’s title, hence the ‘16M’.
